Paulaner Brewery Group consolidates can logistics in Olching – 120,000 pallets annually

Gersthofen, April 8, 2026. The Paulaner Brewery Group will rely on the Andreas Schmid Group for handling, storage and deliveries to food retailers. The facility is designed to handle an annual volume of around 120,000 pallets. The new Paulaner Cola will also be distributed from the site.

The new 7,000 m² warehouse in Olching has been prepared for operations since January 2026, with outbound operations scheduled to begin on March 30, 2026. Each pallet is recorded upon receipt using an SSCC scan to ensure complete traceability. The partially automated warehouse operates on a three-shift basis. In addition to logistics services, the scope of services also includes the assembly of retail displays as a value-added service. During peak season, up to 50 employees therefore work for the Paulaner Brewery Group.

Designed for seasonal peaks and stable supply chains

A high-performance warehouse management system, together with the targeted use of conveyor technology and equipment for heavy pallets, provides the foundation for stable processes.

At the Andreas Schmid Group warehouse, gravity roller conveyors support goods receiving and put-away processes, among other things. IFS certification also ensures compliance with relevant quality and safety standards. With its Olching location, logistics expertise and existing technical equipment, the Andreas Schmid Group meets all the requirements for specialized beverage logistics.
