Thomas Schledorn becomes Chairman of the Executive Board

Gersthofen, July 27, 2026. The Supervisory Board of the Andreas Schmid Group has appointed Thomas Schledorn Chairman of the Executive Board with effect from July 1, 2026. Since joining the Executive Board, he has consistently challenged existing structures and processes and has driven forward the future direction of the operational divisions with great commitment.
Schledorn was appointed to the Executive Board of the corporate group effective January 1, 2026. As Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the 39-year-old will assume overall responsibility for the strategic development of the Andreas Schmid Group. His key priorities will include the diversification of business areas, internationalization, and the company’s sustainable growth.
Thomas Schledorn has been working in the logistics industry for 20 years. The logistics expert has extensive international experience gained in various leadership roles within the sector. Following positions at DB Schenker, where he was responsible, among other things, for business development and European collection & distribution operations, he joined cargo-partner as Chief Operating Officer (COO). There, he played a key role in integrating the company into the Nippon Express Group and in expanding European road transport and contract logistics activities.
